Keira Knightley’s new husband, James Righton, has shared details from the couple’s low-key wedding, saying their “beautiful” day was filled with love. The private pair tied the knot in the south of France on 4 May, and Klaxons keyboardist James has spoken to NME magazine about his “amazing” new wife — and why he doesn’t think their marriage will affect people’s perceptions of him, or his band.
“I just fell in love with someone who happens to be amazing,” the musician, 29, said. “We had a beautiful wedding and there was a lot of love. The music is the music. That thing is going to be there because of who she is, but I’d say we’re a pretty established band.
James’ bandmate Jamie Reynolds described that the couple’s nuptials in the town hall in Mazan — a small village in Provence — as “the greatest day ever“. “It was fantastic. We’re still high from it,” he said. “It was about two weeks ago, it was a big party.”
Anna Karenina star Keira, 28, and James were married in front of just 11 guests before they were driven back to her parents’ £3 million vineyard, about three miles outside the medieval town, in a silver Renault Clio for a 50-guest reception. The actress wore a beautiful Chanel couture pale grey tulle, bustier dress that came to the knee, accessorized with a white tweed jacket created especially by Karl Lagerfeld, pink and grey Chanel ballet pumps and a floral garland in her hair.
It bore a close resemblance to the Rodarte ballerina-style dress that Keira wore to a BAFTA party in 2008, leading many to speculate that she had chosen to recycle an outfit for her wedding, but those rumours were quickly clarified by Chanel.
The thin gold wedding band that now adorns her finger is said to have belonged to James’ grandmother. “The ring he gave her was a family heirloom,” a source said. “He really did think it through. “It was an amazing wedding, the whole thing was really sweet and down to earth.”
Husband and wife are now back in London after returning from their honeymoon in Corsica. During their stay on the picturesque French island, the new Mr and Mrs Righton chartered a yacht and spent a week cruising around the sun-kissed isle, wrapped up in each other’s arms.
The couple got engaged in May 2012, about a year after they were first publicly spotted together. They were reportedly first introduced by TV star, and fashion favourite,Alexa Chung.
Well… I guess I was wrong because I found another sets of pictures of Keira and James honeymooning in Corsica!! Although we already had some of them in medium-quality, you can now admire over 90 photos from the airport in HQ! View them all in the middle of the album. My favorite picture is THIS one – Keira looks absolutely stunning!
I have finally managed to find these beautiful pictures of Keira and James strolling in Brick Lane, East London on May 19, 2013. I think it is (so far!) one of my favorite set of candid-images from 2013! She looks really happy and I couldn`t be more excited for her! Enjoy browsing!
Keira Knightley showed she was the supportive wife as she swapped the glamour of the Cannes Film Festival for the mosh pit at the Great Escape music festival in Brighton. The newly-wed British actress joined other festival-goers in the mosh pit rather than in the VIP section, as she watched her musician husband James Righton make his festival comeback with The Klaxons.
A source told Metro: “Keira had the chance to watch James from the side of the stage as most VIPs do, but she wanted to be down the front with the rest of the crowd. She headed straight into the heart of the crowd and was the one cheering loudest for her man.”

I believe this is the last set of images of Keira and James honeymooning in Corsica :) (although I have to admit that I adore seeing Mrs Knightley having fun! ). I added more pictures (high-quality ones!) from May 13 when they were at the beach! She has a gorgeous body and it is really nasty when I read people`s comments that she suffers from some kind of eating disorder. She stated clearly :
“The anorexic stuff — all of that — it’s always going to have an impact, so I think it did hit pretty hard. Because you go, ‘Oh, maybe that’s right!’” Keira says.
“I knew I wasn’t anorexic, but maybe my body is somehow not right. Or my face is not right. Or the way I speak is not right. When you’re going through a period where you’re really getting a lot of criticism, you go, ‘Maybe all this is right! You just kind of want to hide it all’,” she adds.”
What is even more awkward is that I hoped that people who visit KKnightley.org support Keira and sadly even here I had to remove few unkind words. Please take it somewhere else, we all love Keira just the way she is ( and honestly she is perfect! ) :))

I added one more fabulous image of Keira taken by Ellen von Unwert for Vogue magazine in 2011. I really like this image as its kind of dark and alluring just like the whole photoshoot. A wedding isn’t the only exciting news for Keira Knightley fans this week:The actress is in negotiations to play the female lead in the dark comedy Laggies, according to a rep for the film. The independent production, written by first-timer Andrea Seigel and directed by Lynn Shelton (Your Sister’s Sister), tells the story of a young woman who reacts to her boyfriend’s marriage proposal by pretending to go on a business retreat while she actually hunkers down with a new 16-year old friend (Chloë Grace Moretz). Anne Hathaway was originally on board for the lead but had to depart due to scheduling conflicts with her next project, Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi epic Interstellar.
Knightley, 28, has a mix of small and big-budget films on her docket, including the Kenneth Branagh-directed Jack Ryan (co-starring Chris Pine) and the indie Can a Song Save Your Life? by writer-director John Carney.

KEIRA:It’s the Champions League for *beep* sake!! You should have your British Citizenship taken away, it’s unpatriotic not to be following it (2-1 by the way so they’re out and Real Madrid got through). At the moment I’m not listening to anything coz I’m watching the football and I suspect you’re only asking to lure me into a trap and laugh at my musical taste. I did my usual trick of lying on the floor last night and listening to ‘Songs of Love and Hate’ on vinyl. Leonard Cohen never makes the neighbours complain. Although it does make their dog wail a bit. Oh that’s your record isn’t it? In fact all the records I have here are yours so you can’t take the piss out of what I listen to.

Keira Knightley shed ‘tears of happiness’ today as she married her rock star boyfriend in the south of France. Wearing a short Chanel dress and flowers in her hair, the actress was seen skipping for joy after exchanging vows with James Righton in a low-key ceremony attended by just 11 guests. Mr and Mrs Righton, as they have now become, tied the knot at the town hall in Mazan, a small town around 12 miles from Marseilles.
She was simple and elegant in a strapless white dress with a tulle skirt, which she wore with pale pink flat pumps. The actress wore a cropped Chanel jacket on top and her hair was left loose, with a daisy-chain style garland around her head. The short ceremony took place just before 12 middayand guests gathered at the doors as the couple skipped out hand in hand shortly after Noon. Keira clutched a bouquet and allowed her new husband to lead her to the car. The select group of guests dressed casually for the informal affair.
‘It was a very moving ceremony,’ said an onlooker. ‘Keira looked extremely moved by the whole thing – there were certainly tears of happiness. ‘It was sunny day without a cloud in the sky. There were cheers of “Well done, Keira” when she came out, but there were so few people present so they didn’t make much noise.
